At Nurtured Roots, our mission is to provide students with a nurturing environment where they can develop the essential skills needed to become independent and confident learners, while also empowering parents with the tools to support their growth at home.
But Nurtured Roots isn’t just a tutoring center. It’s a space where kids, families, and educators feel grounded, supported, and seen for exactly who they are and who they’re becoming.
Role Description
• Part-time, contracted position
• Must have at least 2 afternoons per week available from 3:00–6:00 PM
• Working with elementary-aged students in reading, writing, and/or math
• One-on-one and small group support either in person or remote
Qualifications
• Has a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Masters is a plus!)
• Has experience working one-on-one with children
• Is patient, positive, and encouraging
• Believes learning should build confidence
• Enjoys helping students discover their strengths
• Is excited to collaborate with families and educators
