JOB TITLE: Bad-Ass Scheduling Coordinator/Insurance Specialist
EMPLOYER: Nurture Family Dental
REPORTS TO: Admin Lead
EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediate
SUMMARY: The purpose of the Dental Patient coordinator is to provide superior customer service and act as a liaison for the patient and their insurance benefits. His or her's priority will be creating and maintaining a Category of One level of service to our patients and fellow team members, focused on serving others while establishing trusting, caring relationships.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acquiring necessary dental records and documents via telephone, email, fax and all other forms of communication with other office locations/personnel.
- Submitting insurance forms to insurance companies as required.
- Answering multi-line telephone system
- Scheduling patients for appointments and re-call appointments in an efficient and productive manner.
- Providing outstanding customer service, maintaining positive relationships, and acting as a resource for everything related to office operations.
- Presenting treatment plans with financial investment to patients
- Encourage patient referrals.
- Maintaining accounts receivable records and placing necessary collection calls to patients and insurance companies.
- Receiving payments from patients for services rendered and preparing bank deposits daily.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
- Candidates must have prior dental experience.
