Position Summary:
The Resident Direct Care Tech is responsible for assisting residents under his/her care in the daily routine living.
Qualifications:
One year of work experience with the developmentally disabled is preferred.
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalence
Clear Children & Family Services screening
Hold a valid Florida State driver’s license

Work Experience Character References
Zero Tolerance Training
CPR and First Aids Training
5 years Re-Screen FBI and Local Background
Duties and Responsibilities:
Acts as a facilitator for assigned residents which includes, but not limited to; responsible for the up keep of the resident's rooms, resident's personal hygiene, clothing and personal
Belongings (if applicable). The RCT is responsible for reporting resident’s needs to his/her staff supervisor.
Maintains the residence as a tidy, clean, safe home and assists the residents is acquiring skills enabling them to become more independent, including participating in the day
Activity program.
Responsible for the health, welfare and safety of all the residents in the house while on duty.
Responsible for meeting assigned work schedules as specified and if he/she cannot be present at work, his/her supervisor will be notified at least four hours prior to the
Beginning of the work shift.
Implements resident’s programs to include: behavior plan, monitoring of skill
Performance, instruction to develop skills and documentation of the process before
Terminating his/her shift of duty.
Job Type: Full-time
