Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and independence.
- Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary requirements and assist residents during meal times
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards
Experience
- Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience assisting with ADLs and providing personal care in home or community settings.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities is advantageous
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is provided; additional training in safe patient lifting practices is a plus
- Ability to operate a standard passenger car for transportation needs is desirable
