Nursing Vault Plus Staffing is seeking compassionate and resilient Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team for per diem opportunities with our client, Daymark Recovery Services.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Observation: Monitor and document patient behavior, mood, and interactions to ensure safety in a crisis recovery environment.
Clinical Support: Measure and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temp) and assist with medical screenings, including drug screens and TB testing.
Crisis Assistance: Work alongside RNs and LPNs to provide therapeutic support and help de-escalate patients in acute distress.
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and meals while encouraging independence in a recovery setting.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe, ligature-free environment and ensure all patient documentation meets North Carolina state standards.
Requirements
Certification: Must hold an active and unencumbered CNA I or CNA II certification in the state of North Carolina.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: 1 year of experience in behavioral health, mental health, or substance abuse recovery is preferred.
Skills: Strong therapeutic communication skills and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure or crisis situations.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
Clearance: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
