What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA – Home Care - As Needed position at NurseCore?
NurseCore Home Care is building a small pool of dependable CNAs to step in when coverage is needed. This is per diem, as-needed work with no guaranteed hours, so assignments may vary from week to week.
We’re looking for CNAs who are readily available and have broad availability, including weekday overnights, weekend days and weekend overnights. We may have some daytime shifts come up, but candidates available only during weekday daytime hours may not be a good fit.
Responsibilities may vary depending on the patient and shift assigned:
- Assist with morning and/or nighttime routines
- Prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping
- Run errands
- Assist with a Hoyer lift and/or other mobility needs
- Provide hygiene care
- Remain attentive throughout entire shift to ensure patient safety and timely assistance
- Perform other duties as needed
- Valid CNA license in the State of Nevada
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
- At least one year of CNA or HHA experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current, hands-on CPR certification in compliance with AHA
- Negative TB test within the last 12 months
- Successful background check
- Pay rate: $20 to $22 / hour
