Role Summary:
NurseAmerica is seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) in Escondido, CA to join a leading healthcare facility in Wildomar, CA, as a Manager of Med/Surg/Telemetry. This position plays a vital leadership role overseeing daily clinical operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient-centered care across the Med/Surg/Telemetry units.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, a passion for mentoring staff, and a commitment to excellence in nursing practice within a fast-paced acute care environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the operations of the Med/Surg/Telemetry departments, ensuring quality and compliance with hospital policies and state/federal regulations.
- Manage and support nursing teams to maintain optimal staffing, morale, and clinical performance.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care delivery.
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical leaders, and administrative teams to improve patient outcomes.
- Manage budgets, equipment, and departmental resources effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong attention to detail in documentation and communication.
- Perform data analysis, identify trends, and implement quality improvement initiatives.
What We Need from You:
- Active California RN License
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- 2 years of recent Med/Surg/Telemetry nursing experience
- Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in EKG/Telemetry interpretation (or completion of Basic EKG course within 6 months of hire)
