This contract role is based onsite in our Brisbane, CA headquarters.
What You'll Do
- Own full-cycle recruitment for a diverse portfolio of roles across scientific, technical, and corporate functions.
- Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, develop search strategies, and identify the skills and experiences that drive success.
- Lead intake meetings, candidate screening, interview planning, debrief discussions, and offer processes from start to finish.
- Proactively source and engage top talent, including passive candidates, to build strong and diverse talent pipelines.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by providing insights on talent market trends, candidate availability, and competitive hiring practices.
- Deliver an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring teams through clear communication, collaboration, and responsiveness.
- Drive efficient, compliant hiring processes while maintaining accurate candidate data and reporting within Greenhouse and other talent systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen recruiting effectiveness, employer brand, and hiring outcomes.
What You'll Bring
- 6-10 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, life sciences, or a similarly fast-paced, highly specialized industry.
- A track record of successfully hiring across scientific disciplines (R&D, CMC, Technical Operations, Clinical, or related functions) as well as corporate teams.
- Strong partnership and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility and collaborate effectively with leaders at all levels.
- Expertise in sourcing and engaging passive talent through a variety of channels and recruiting strategies.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple searches while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
- Confidence balancing strategic talent acquisition work with hands-on recruiting execution and coordination.
- Experience using Greenhouse or a similar applicant tracking system preferred.
- A commitment to fostering inclusive hiring practices and helping create diverse, high-performing teams.
