X-Ray Technologist

This role provides diagnostic imaging services in a short-term acute care setting, performing routine and specialized X-ray procedures, including OR and fluoroscopy. The technologist ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, including OR and fluoroscopy imaging
• Prepare and position patients for imaging exams
• Operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively
• Review images for quality and accuracy, identifying any issues for repeat imaging
• Maintain patient records and document procedures using Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage
• Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions as needed
• Support workflow efficiency and patient care standards
Qualifications
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• 1 years of radiology or imaging experience preferred
• Experience in OR and fluoroscopy required; O-arm experience preferred
• Ability to work weekends and participate in on-call rotation
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and patient care skills
