What You’ll Do
- Lead and Manage Projects from preconstruction through closeout — ensuring quality, schedule, and budget goals are achieved.
- Budget Oversight: Manage job cost tracking, forecasting, change orders, contingency and allowance tracking, and labor resources.
- Contract Management: Administer owner contracts, write and manage subcontracts, and oversee change order processes.
- Scheduling: Develop and maintain CPM schedules, facilitate pull planning, and hold subcontractors accountable for schedule commitments.
- Operations Coordination: Oversee RFI, procurement, and submittal processes; ensure project documentation accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor Project Engineers, Assistant PMs, and collaborate closely with Superintendents to keep field operations fully supported.
- Owner & Architect Relations: Build trust-based relationships through consistent, transparent communication and problem-solving.
- Meetings: Lead and document weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings.
- Business Development: Participate in interviews to help Nunn win new work and represent the company professionally in the community.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Prior experience as a Project Engineer (RFIs, submittals, etc.) required.
- No more than 2 employers in 5 years and no more than 3 employers in 10 years.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- 2–10 years of experience as a Project Manager on commercial projects — especially K-12 schools, higher education, healthcare, municipal, or advanced manufacturing/technology.
- Must be a U.S. resident with strong professional references.
