Title:
CAPPS Financials/HR Report Writer
TEA (Texas Education Agency) is a CAPPS HUB Agency. The goal of this position (which will be in the Finance division) is to review and assist with the development of additional queries for the Financial Staff to ensure their ability to retrieve meaningful information from the CAPPS System.
This will will include working with cross-divisional executives, directors and other stakeholders as directed by the CFO to review TCAPPS business system configuration which will include but is not limited to:
- Lead the All Activity Query Development
- Design, Test and Build Queries to assist with business process improvement.
- Coordinate the necessary development of additional reports and/or queries as needed.
- Assist with re-engineering or developing processes necessary for efficient use of the CAPPS Financial system.
- Working with business customers to gather requirements for the system and/orprocess improvements and report development.
- Prepare detailed documentation in support of any of the activities listed above as requested by management.
- Complete full range of testing as needed.
Required
- 10 years Experience with CAPPS Business Process Design/Redesign/Reengineering best practices
- 10 years Experience with Business/System/Data Analysis and Improvement
- 10 years Experience with the development of various reporting mechanisms
- 10 years Experience with ERP/CAPPS Financials/PeopleSoft in Texas
- 10 years Proficient with the Microsoft Windows and Office products
- 10 years Experience with Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- 10 years Experience with CAPPS GL, Commitment Control, Purchasing,E-Procurement, AP,Cash Receipts, Inv, Assets and Grants
- 10 years Experience with Query and Reporting Development with CAPPS
- 5 years Experience with the All-Activity Query Logic in CAPPS
- 100% Remote, Work Location With-in the United States - Austin Region Preferred as possible in-person meetings may be required. No Travel will be paid
- Part-time work - 3 to 4 hours a day CST business hours.
