NuCara Pharmacy is a dynamic community pharmacy serving patients in Texas, Iowa, North Dakota, and Minnesota. At NuCara, we prioritize one-on-one patient counseling and medication management with the goal of delivering the best pharmacy value without sacrificing the quality of care prized by our patients. We are seeking a full-time pharmacy technician to join our team in Pleasant Hill, IA. Duties will be in our retail pharmacy, but we also provide compounding services, point of care testing, immunizations and servicing group homes which creates an ideal environment for pharmacy technicians looking to diversify their skills. Applicants should have strong communication and organizational skills. An Iowa pharmacy technician license and PTCB certification is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Data entry
- Filling prescriptions
- Customer interaction
- Inventory management
- Assist in directing daily workflow
- Resolving rejected insurance claims
Store hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Friday and 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays. The pharmacy is closed on Sundays and all major holidays. Will include a Saturday rotation.
