Story City FT Technician

NuCara Pharmacy is a dynamic community pharmacy serving patients in Iowa, Texas, North Dakota and Minnesota. At NuCara, we prioritize one-on-one patient counseling and medication management with the goal of delivering the best pharmacy value without sacrificing the quality of care prized by our patients.

We are looking for a full-time, highly motivated pharmacy technician to join our team in Story City, IA. In this position you would provide prompt, high quality care to our patients and assist the pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications. Also in this position, it will be required to travel among NuCara stores 1 day a week. Applicants should have strong communication and organizational skills. National Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities For This Position Include

• Data entry
• Customer interaction
• Inventory management
• Assist in directing daily workflow
• Resolving rejected insurance claims
  
  

Requirements

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred but not required. Will train the right person!
• Need to be vaccine certified or willing to become vaccine certified.
• Willing to maintain a flexible work schedule by working 4 days a week in Story City and 1 day a week in another NuCara Pharmacy store.
