Part-Time Mobile Automotive Technician — Flexible 2–3 Day Schedule
Looking for a flexible technician role without committing to a full five-day work week? NuBrakes is hiring experienced automotive technicians to join our mobile service team on a part-time basis.

Our biggest need is Saturday/Sunday/Monday, and we’re looking for technicians who can consistently work 2–3 days per week within that window. If you can work all three days, great. If two days work better for your schedule, we’d still love to talk.

This can be a great fit for an experienced technician looking to supplement their income, transition away from a traditional shop schedule, or simply work fewer days while continuing to turn wrenches.

Ideal availability: Saturday/Sunday/Monday

Commitment: 1–3 consistent days per week

About the Position
Our Part-Time (Casual) Technicians travel to our customer’s location, whether it be their office, apartment, or home, to diagnose and repair their brakes. In this role, we will provide everything you need to complete appointments - including a company van, fuel, tolls and toolset to efficiently complete brake jobs and preventative maintenance services.

Requirements

Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) to be eligible to drive our company-provided van

• At least 5 years of direct mechanic experience in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• ASE A5 Preferred, but not required
• A strong understanding and ability to repair/replace brake pads, rotors, drums, shoes, calipers on a variety of makes and models
• Pass a Background Check, Drug Test and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• High energy attitude and ability to effectively communicate with others

Schedule:

• Day shift, primarily Wed-Fri (We schedule appointments from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

Work Location: Mobile in greater Nashville/Franklin metropolitan area
