Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance, with expertise in various mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repairing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety within the facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for Preventative Maintenance tasks as assigned
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly PM's
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
- Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- May also be assigned other tasks by supervisor
Education & Experience
- Experience includes welding, electrical trouble shooting, preventative maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic experience and installing and maintaining large manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to operate various types of equipment including forklift, platform lift, etc. Operates welder, plasma cutter and cutting torch.
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools necessary.
- Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
- Good Housekeeping and organization skills needed.
- Fabrication of parts and components for production equipment.
- Additional jobs as requested by management.
Pay: $27.00 per hour
