Day to Day Job Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern UI technologies.
- Support application and infrastructure modernization across hybrid cloud, Azure, and AWS environments.
- Contribute to cloud migration initiatives, including transition of workloads from Azure to AWS.
- Develop and support data processing solutions using Apache Spark.
- Design and integrate REST APIs and Microservices with enterprise applications and data platforms.
- Support production applications following SRE principles, focusing on availability, reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Identify, assess, and remediate application and infrastructure security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address vulnerability findings and security compliance requirements.
- Implement automation for deployments, monitoring, operational activities, and vulnerability remediation.
- Troubleshoot complex application, cloud, and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, release activities, and Agile ceremonies.
- Work with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and improve application deployment processes.
- 6 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and enterprise application development.
- 4 years of experience working with AWS/Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
- 3 years of experience with Apache Spark and large-scale data processing.
- 3 years of experience in SRE, production reliability, vulnerability management, and application security remediation.
- Experience migrating applications and workloads from Azure to AWS.
- Experience with Angular, React, or other modern front-end technologies.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code technologies.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, EKS, Lambda, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and security tools such as Snyk, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Qualys, or Veracode.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, encryption, and security best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and enterprise production environments.
