Terms of Employment:
• W2 Contract, 5 Months.
• Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite in San Francisco: Mon/Wed/Thu; 2 days remote: Tue/Fri). No onsite parking.
Overview:
Work with a leading transportation and micro-mobility firm in their San Francisco headquarters. As a Senior Accountant, you will serve as a critical resource for the "Lusk" (Bikes and Scooters) organization. You will ensure the accuracy of the accounts payable lifecycle and manage complex multi-period accounting entries during a key team member's leave.
Key Responsibilities:
o Manage and approve a daily queue of hundreds of invoices in Oracle, specifically focusing on invoices under $25,000.
o Validate both "two-way" (services) and "three-way" (goods) invoices for accuracy and completeness.
o Own the multi-period accounting process, including creating and managing Excel workbooks for 30-50 invoices per month that cover future periods.
o Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve AP issues and answer accounting-related questions for the bikes and scooters division.
o Serve as the primary backup for the AP Manager regarding payment processing and matching in Oracle.
o Support various governance and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and data.
Required Qualifications:
o Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
o Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
o Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP or SAP (Large ERP experience is non-negotiable).
o Strong proficiency in Excel, specifically for creating accounting workbooks and schedules.
o Ability to work onsite in San Francisco three days a week.
Preferred Qualifications:
o Experience in a high-volume corporate AP environment.
o Previous experience supporting the micro-mobility or transportation industry.
o Background in multi-period accounting or prepaid expense schedules.
