Terms of Employment:
• W2 Contract, 12 Months
• This is a hybrid position. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite in Center City, Philadelphia on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Mondays and Fridays can be worked remotely.
• Shift Schedule: 08:30 AM- 04:30 PM

Join the regulatory division of a leading utility company in a critical support role. As a Junior Regulatory Analyst, you will play a key part in ensuring the company's compliance with Public Utility Commission (PUC) mandates. This involves managing the flow of information related to customer complaints and PUC decisions, tracking performance metrics, and providing essential data analysis that reaches senior leadership. • Accurately input Public Utility Commission (PUC) decisions into the company's system of record.
• Route decision information to the appropriate internal departments to ensure timely compliance actions.
• Assist in tracking and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), particularly those related to the timeliness of responses to PUC inquiries and customer complaints.
• Extract, verify, and prepare data for regular reports, including those submitted to senior management.
• Support various members of the regulatory team (Associate, Level II, and Senior Regulatory Assessors) with tasks related to case processing and compliance.
• Utilize strong Excel skills to manipulate and extract data for analysis and reporting, including using VLOOKUPs.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in a compliance-focused role or responding to compliance inquiries.
• Minimum one year of professional analysis experience; the team is prepared to train the right candidate.
• Demonstrated ability to extract and explain data effectively.
• Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically with VLOOKUPs and managing/extracting information from datasets.
• A strong understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines and working with time-sensitive information.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in the utilities industry.
• Hands-on experience with data extraction from source systems; specific experience with CC&B or OBIEE.
