Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Primarily Remote. The resource will be required to come into the Canton or Merriweather office at least 3 times per month.

Overview
Work with a leading health insurance provider in the DMV region during an exciting phase of growth and expansion. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in a high-priority initiative aimed at fulfilling key staffing needs across the organization by the end of the year. Driving full-cycle recruitment, you will partner closely with hiring managers, compensation teams, and HR leadership to source, engage, and hire top talent primarily across Health Services (clinical, quality, risk adjustment) as well as technical and operational areas.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end full-cycle recruitment for a concurrent load of 15 to 30 active requisitions.
• Conduct intake strategy sessions with hiring managers to define candidate profiles and sourcing plans.
• Proactively source and engage passive candidate pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter and specialized platforms.
• Conduct thorough phone screens to evaluate candidate skills, medical terminology knowledge, and cultural fit.
• Facilitate interview scheduling and collaborate with HR Business Partners and Compensation teams to formulate and negotiate offer packages.
Required Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years of full-cycle talent acquisition experience specifically recruiting for clinical roles and some IT roles.
• Hands-on experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter for passive talent engagement.
• Proven track record of managing 15 to 30 open requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated full-cycle recruiting experience, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and closing candidates.
• Strong working understanding of medical and healthcare terminology.
• Direct recruitment experience within a health insurance organization or healthcare system.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and candidates while managing multiple competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Specialized recruiting background supporting roles in CMS Stars ratings, Risk Adjustment, Quality Assurance, or clinical functions.
• Previous experience using PeopleSoft ATS.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
