Job Summary
The Wireless Device Engineer Intern at Nsight will enhance the quality of Cellcom's product offerings through rigorous testing of wireless devices and technologies, and assist in resolving related issues. This role involves supporting Device Engineers in testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining an inventory of necessary tools and equipment. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, and have a background in telecommunications or electronics. Responsibilities & Duties: * Assist Device Engineers in conducting formal testing of new wireless devices, features, and technologies. * Troubleshoot customer issues escalated to the engineering team by customer service. * Create test configurations using electronic test equipment and complex software. * Manage workload, set priorities, maintain quality of work, and plan project deliverables. * Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. Must have at least sophomore standing. Up to two years of telecommunications or electronics background preferred. Working knowledge of wireless devices, including phones and access points. Familiarity with engineering principles, Internet platforms and systems, software configuration, and quality assurance techniques.
