Duties
- Lead end-to-end project management for diverse IT initiatives, including enterprise software deployment, cloud computing solutions (AWS), and infrastructure upgrades.
- Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Project management software like Jira, VersionOne, and TFS.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams through Agile, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Waterfall, and Kanban methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions, analyze stakeholder needs, and translate them into detailed specifications for software development and system implementation.
- Manage project schedules, resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and budget adherence to meet organizational objectives.
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), test case creation, test-driven development practices, and release management processes to ensure seamless project implementation.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders at all levels through effective negotiation, reporting, and presentation skills while maintaining transparency throughout the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Ensure compliance with IT governance standards, disaster recovery plans, and IT infrastructure security protocols to safeguard organizational assets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager with a strong background in enterprise software projects and cloud computing environments such as AWS.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies including PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge), SDLC frameworks, and Agile/SAFe practices.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, Jira, VersionOne, TFS (Team Foundation Server), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to gather requirements accurately and develop detailed test cases for user acceptance testing.
- Familiarity with databases like SQL and Oracle; experience managing IT infrastructure components is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to coordinate multiple teams across different locations while maintaining organizational skills and time management.
- Exceptional communication skills in Japanese (native or fluent) to facilitate clear collaboration with stakeholders; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules effectively using tools such as Microsoft Project or SharePoint; experience with disaster recovery planning is advantageous.
- Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and experience implementing enterprise-wide projects aligned with organizational policies.
