- Assist with the secure disposal of outdated or decommissioned computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Provide technical support to users during the equipment removal process, troubleshooting software and hardware issues promptly
- Manage and document asset records using tools like SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), ServiceNow, or BMC Remedy to track disposal activities
- Support network administration tasks related to the project, including verifying connectivity via LAN, VPN, and firewall configurations
- Conduct analysis of hardware components to ensure proper decommissioning procedures are followed in compliance with security policies
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment pickup, transportation, and recycling processes while maintaining data security standards
- Assist in updating documentation related to IT infrastructure components such as Active Directory, GPO (Group Policy Objects), DNS settings, and network configurations
- Proven experience in technical support roles with a focus on desktop support and hardware management
- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (Windows Server), macOS, and Linux environments
- Familiarity with software troubleshooting techniques across various platforms and devices
- Experience working with IT infrastructure components such as TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls (e.g., Meraki), and LAN/WAN networks
