Job Details:
Location: Columbus, Ohio
- Pay: $20-30/hour
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: 40 hours
- Shift: 7am-4:00pm
- Length: Temp to hire
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- 5 years of experience (required)
- Set up and operate press brake machines for bending and forming metal parts in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Adjust tooling, calibrate machines, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other quality inspection tools to verify dimensions meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot machine issues, perform basic repairs or adjustments, and document production data accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols including crane operation and proper handling of sheet metal materials.
- Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving welding, assembly, or additional machining processes.
