Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against invoices, manifests, and bills of lading
- Ensure accuracy of quantities and proper documentation of all incoming goods
- Identify, report, and document damaged or missing items
- Accurately input and maintain inventory records
- Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness
- Package, label, and prepare materials for transport
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Track, issue, and maintain inventory of uniforms, equipment, and departmental assets
- Ensure accountability and proper documentation of all issued property
- Operate department vehicles (up to 34-foot U-Haul size)
- Perform deliveries and pickups across Capitol Hill and the surrounding metro area
- Coordinate with team members and assist in directing workflow when needed
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in environments involving leadership and dignitaries
- Support overall operational efficiency and readiness
