What are the responsibilities and job description for the IDD Reviewer position at NRI, Inc.?
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate IDD Reviewer to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with developmentally disabled individuals and a strong commitment to improving their quality of life. Must be a Washington DC resident.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed evaluations of residents to assess individual needs, strengths, and challenges.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized service plans.
- Conduct interviews with residents and their families to gather insights and ensure their voices are heard.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of resident progress and changing needs.
- Stay informed on advancements, best practices, and techniques in the field of developmental disabilities.
- Liaise with external agencies and funding sources-including Medicaid and Medicare-to ensure proper documentation and billing.
- Advocate for residents' rights, well-being, independence, and community inclusion.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on effective strategies for supporting developmentally disabled individuals.
- Work remotely with required weekly visits to residents throughout Washington, DC.
