About the Role:
As the Program Director, you will lead and manage our outpatient substance use disorder program, including counseling services, case management, MAT support, and recovery-focused care. You will ensure compliance with Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH) and Medicaid regulations, guide staff development, and help shape a strong, supportive treatment environment.
Job Duties:
Program Oversight & Operations

Oversee day-to-day operations of all outpatient addiction treatment services, including counseling, case management, and MAT support.

Ensure all services comply with Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH).

Monitor program performance, productivity, and service quality; implement improvements as needed.

Oversee client flow, scheduling, treatment planning, and discharge processes.

Maintain accurate program reports, records, and data tracking.
Clinical & Staff Supervision

Supervise clinicians, case managers, peer support specialists, and administrative support staff.

Provide coaching, mentoring, and regular performance evaluations.

Facilitate clinical staffing meetings.

Ensure timely and compliant clinical documentation and service entry.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance

Prepare for and manage DMH audits, site reviews, and accreditation processes (CARF/JCAHO, if applicable).

Maintain QA systems, including treatment plan reviews, chart audits, and corrective action plans.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, ethical guidelines, and state/federal regulations.
Community & Referral Relations

Build and maintain relationships with referral sources.

Represent the program in community meetings, partnerships, and outreach events.

Promote program visibility and strengthen community support networks.
Administrative & Financial Responsibilities

Assist with program budgeting, resource allocation, and financial oversight.

Monitor billing accuracy, service utilization, and revenue processes.
