What are the responsibilities and job description for the Healthcare Recruiter position at NRG MGMT LLC?
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are building a centralized HR function to support a fast-growing behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment network operating across five facilities in Tennessee, Georgia, Massachusetts, and Missouri. The Healthcare Recruiter is a foundational hire — responsible for sourcing, attracting, and closing clinical and operational talent across all locations, including our centralized call center.
This role requires someone who understands the behavioral health labor market, knows how to recruit licensed clinical staff (therapists, counselors, nurses, MAT-trained clinicians), and can also manage higher-volume hiring for admissions, operations, and support roles — all in a compliance-sensitive, HIPAA-governed environment.

What You'll Own
Full-Cycle Clinical Recruiting
- Source and recruit licensed clinical staff: LCSWs, LPCs, CADCs, MAT-trained nurses, case managers, and behavioral health technicians across TN, GA, MA, and MO
- Build and maintain pipelines in state-specific licensing boards, NAADAC, NASW, CADC alumni networks, university clinical training programs, and behavioral health job boards (Behavioral Health Jobs, Indeed Healthcare, LinkedIn)
- Manage the full lifecycle from intake call to offer accepted — including background check coordination, licensure verification, and credentialing handoff to clinical ops
- Maintain realistic time-to-fill benchmarks by role; alert leadership when market conditions shift comp expectations or pipeline depth
Operational & Call Center Recruiting
- Partner with call center management to hire admissions representatives (senior and junior levels) against defined staffing models for a 7-day, 7:30 AM–11:30 PM operation
- Manage volume hiring cycles for admissions, billing support, and administrative roles across facilities
- Build a repeatable screening process using structured scorecards — not just gut instinct
Recruiting Operations
- Own job postings, ATS hygiene, pipeline reporting, and requisition status across all active roles
- Track source-to-hire data and provide weekly recruiting dashboards to HR Director
- Develop and maintain a talent pool of warm candidates for high-turnover positions
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements: background checks, drug screens, TB tests, licensure verification — ensuring timing doesn't create start-date gaps
Employer Brand & Sourcing
- Build relationships with behavioral health training programs, CADC certification bodies, and state-level associations to generate referral pipelines
- Develop compelling job descriptions that reflect the reality of the work — not boilerplate
What We're Looking For
Non-Negotiables
- 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years focused on behavioral health, SUD treatment, mental health, or a comparable healthcare vertical
- Demonstrated experience recruiting licensed clinical staff (LCSW, LPC, CADC, RN, or equivalent) you know where to find them and how to close them
- Comfort operating in a HIPAA-compliant environment; understands 42 CFR Part 2 at a conceptual level (or is willing to get up to speed quickly)
- Experience managing multi-state requisitions simultaneously
- ATS proficiency — you've lived in one and know how to keep it clean
Strong Differentiators
- Prior experience recruiting for SUD-specific roles (MAT clinicians, peer support specialists, CADC-certified counselors)
- Familiarity with licensing timelines by state — knows that a Georgia LAPC looks different from a Massachusetts LMHC and can plan accordingly
- Experience hiring call center, admissions, or patient access roles in a healthcare setting
- Has built or documented a repeatable recruiting process from scratch at a growing organization
- Background in RPO, agency healthcare staffing, or a multi-site healthcare operator
Who You Are
- Organized enough to manage 12–20 open requisitions without dropping any
- Relational enough to build trust with hiring managers who are busy clinicians
- Tenacious enough to fill hard-to-find roles in competitive markets
- Honest enough to push back when a req is unfillable at the offered comp
