We are seeking an experienced Staff Registered Nurse (RN) for a 6-month contract at our occupational health center in Clayton, NC. This is an on-site position within an industrial/manufacturing workplace, providing employee health and occupational nursing services.

Job Summary
- Provide occupational health nursing services in an on-site workplace setting.
- Assess and treat occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Provide first aid, emergency care, medical referrals, and follow-up.
- Conduct employee health assessments, pre-placement exams, and wellness activities.
- Manage hearing, vision, respiratory protection, and employee immunization programs.
- Perform vaccinations, venipuncture, health screenings, and medical assessments.
- Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work activities.
- Maintain accurate employee medical records and regulatory documentation.
- Communicate with physicians, employees, HR, and healthcare providers regarding treatment and work restrictions.
- Respond to workplace emergencies and coordinate appropriate medical transportation.
- Support occupational health compliance, safety programs, and employee wellness initiatives.
Requirements
- ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current, unrestricted North Carolina RN license.
- 3–5 years of nursing experience preferred.
- Occupational health, clinical, emergency, public health, or employee health experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- COHN or COHN-S certification preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
