Environment Release Manager

Overview
Seeking an Environment Release Manager to support daily production and non-production test cycles, manage software releases, and ensure smooth deployment across multiple environments. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to resolve environment issues, coordinate deployments, and support end-user testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support production & test environments, deployment activities, and online/batch processing.
- Create deployment packages and utilize in-house tools to support release initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage deployment timelines and production implementations.
- Oversee environment changes and collaborate with developers for pre-production readiness.
- Support vendor management including contract and SOW reviews.
- Participate in on-call rotation for production batch cycles and test regions.
- Contribute to improving ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management).
Required Skills
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Non-Prod environment operations and life insurance platforms (Ingenium, Life70, IDM, AWD).
- Experience with CA ESP job scheduling, SQL/AQT/WebFOCUS/UFT, and scripting (CMD, PowerShell, Python, Java, Go).
- Proficiency with Microsoft O365 and Office Suite.
Education & Experience
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–8 years of IT experience supporting Non-Prod environments.
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
