Test Technician Senior
Location: Irvine, CA
Duration: 6 months
Pay: $40-$60/hr.
Summary:
The Senior Test Technician Specialist performs advanced testing, troubleshooting, and repair of RF, Microwave, and Radar electronic assemblies and subassemblies. The role involves failure analysis, report preparation, and collaboration with Engineering and Quality to identify root causes and improve product reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct RF/Microwave and environmental compliance testing (Vibration, Shock, Acceleration) per MIL standards.
- Troubleshoot to component level on complex electronic systems including filters, antennas, and control systems.
- Perform evaluations and repairs on field returns; prepare detailed failure analysis reports.
- Operate RF/electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, etc.).
- Support process and test procedure development; ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Work independently and collaboratively across departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 8 years of experience in RF, Microwave, and Radar testing.
- Strong knowledge of electronic systems and test equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Active Secret Clearance required.
