Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer II
Location: Moncks Corner, SC
Duration: 4 Months Contract
Pay: $50/hour W2 (May pay more based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer II to support manufacturing and assembly operations. This role will design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and production layouts to optimize efficiency, quality, cost, safety, and material yield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve manufacturing and assembly processes for new and existing products.
- Identify equipment and tooling requirements to meet production and quality goals.
- Lead process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support engineering design concepts and manufacturing specifications.
- Investigate quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable standards and regulations.
- Support capital projects and other manufacturing engineering activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Knowledge of Lean, JIT, pull systems, and process mapping.
- Experience with CAD/CAM and manufacturing systems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data analysis tools, and databases.
Salary : $45 - $55
