Job Title: Hardware Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate:$45 - $47/hr.
Summary:
Seeking a Hardware Engineer with 3 years of experience in electronic circuit and system design, integration, and testing. The role involves hands-on lab work, troubleshooting, test development, and collaboration on aerospace/defense-grade electronic systems.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Analog & digital circuit design, DSP
- Experience with test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum/network analyzer, DMMs, signal generators)
- Familiarity with OrCAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW, VHDL
- PCB layout experience (preferred)
- RF systems or motor drives & controls (preferred)
- Aerospace/Defense or Military background (preferred)
- Knowledge of AS9100 (plus)
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electronic systems
- Create and support test plans, procedures, and reports
- Assist with automated test setups and test fixtures
- Support lab and field testing
- Work independently and with cross-functional teams
Education:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering 3 years’ experience
- Master’s degree or MBA is a plus
