Job Title: Foreign Language Instructor

Location: Russellville, AR (No remote option)

Duration: 3 months (Will keep extended)

Pay Rate: $40/hr.

Hours: 5 hours a week only.

The Foreign Language Instructor will deliver onsite, face-to-face language classes for team members. This is an impactful role supporting employees in improving their foreign language skills, enhancing communication, and contributing to their personal and professional development. This program is a free benefit for employees, and we are seeking an instructor who can connect well with diverse learners and has experience teaching languages.

Responsibilities

• Teach Foreign Language courses (e.g., Spanish, French, etc.) to team members at the facility.
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and classroom activities.
• Attend faculty meetings, partner meetings, and required training sessions.
• Participate in recruitment events and program activities to support Academy and engage with the community.

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of language teaching strategies and methods, including grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Native-like fluency in the foreign language being taught (e.g., Spanish, French) and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for managing course materials and communication.

Preferred Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Foreign Language, Teaching, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in adult education.

Special Skills:

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Ability to give clear, concise explanations and instruction.
• Proficiency in a second language.
• Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Strong technology skills and experience integrating digital tools into teaching.
