Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through successful project closeout. The ideal candidate will have 6–12 years of hands-on electrical construction experience, with a strong understanding of field operations and project management. Experience as a Licensed Electrician, Electrical Foreman, General Foreman, or Superintendent are preferred. Looking for someone who independently manage electrical construction projects valued at $1M , while maintaining control of project schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractors, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through completion and closeout.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and job costs.
- Manage projects valued at $1M , ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and according to contract requirements.
- Coordinate with General Contractors (GCs), owners, engineers, architects, vendors, subcontractors, and internal field teams.
- Review project plans, specifications, drawings, scopes of work, and contract documents.
- Manage procurement, material purchasing, equipment, and vendor coordination to support project schedules.
- Prepare, track, and resolve RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Identify project risks, cost impacts, schedule issues, and potential scope changes, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements, schedules, safety standards, and quality expectations.
- Monitor project progress, labor productivity, material usage, and overall job performance.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, GCs, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on schedule, budget, procurement, change orders, and project status.
- Review project financials, including job costing, budget-to-actual performance, forecasting, and profitability.
- Support project turnover, commissioning, punch-list completion, and final project closeout.
- Ensure projects are executed in accordance with applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, specifications, and company standards.
Required Qualifications
- 6–12 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction.
- Experience in independently managing electrical construction projects valued at $1M or more.
- Knowledge of electrical construction processes, field operations, and project execution.
- Experienced as an Electrical Project Manager, Project Engineer, Electrical Superintendent, Foreman, General Foreman, or Licensed Electrician is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, job costing, procurement, and forecasting.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
