SUMMARY
Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external catering guests and is responsible for overseeing set-up, service and clean-up of all catered events. Provides direction and supervision to banquet servers and bartenders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver first class customer service to all guests at catered events ensuring all special requests and needs are communicated to management
- Supervise banquet staff and efficiently delegate responsibilities to ensure the success of all events
- Execute all catered events with a strong emphasis on all details and the overall guest experience
- Ability to set-up catered events with care to all details and department standards
- Ability to efficiently and accurately service all guests in buffet, station and plated meal environments
- Ability to meet and supervise all service standards including, but not limited to, tray carrying, wine service, table service and buffet service
- Ensure thorough break-down and clean-up all catering equipment and supplies following events, ensuring proper care and storage of all equipment, supplies, food and beverage
- Complete tasks in a variety of environments as assigned by management to include in-door and out-door catering through the property
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Banquet Servers and Banquet Bartenders
- Banquet Captains
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high paced environment
- Ability to trouble shot and within department guidelines, immediately resolve deficiencies
- Ability to work as a team leader in a diverse environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- 18 years of age or older
- Flexible schedule; nights, weekends and holidays may be required
- Ability to fully commit to all home football games and other full stadium events
