Role Description
The Partnerships Development Manager will be responsible for building, maintaining, and strengthening strategic partnerships to support our mission and expand our service reach. Key responsibilities include identifying prospective partners, managing business relationships, fostering effective collaborations, and exploring strategic growth opportunities. The role also involves ensuring client satisfaction and identifying areas for development within ongoing partnerships. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Waldorf, MD.
What You’ll Do
- Build and manage partnerships with gyms, spas, hotels, medspas, and corporate wellness programs.
- Develop creative partnership packages (referral, revenue-share, and co-branded activations).
- Negotiate, execute, and manage partner agreements to ensure win-win outcomes.
- Plan wellness activations and on-site hydration events with local partners.
- Collaborate with marketing to produce co-branded content and social promotions.
- Represent NPOC at networking events, chamber mixers, and wellness expos.
- Track all partnership activity and KPIs using HubSpot or a similar CRM.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Business Relationship Management and Account Management
- Experience in forging and maintaining Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships
- Excellent Communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proven ability to strategically analyze opportunities for growth and develop action plans
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the wellness or healthcare industry is a plus
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively in a dynamic team setting
Who You Are
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or account management, ideally in wellness, fitness, or hospitality.
- Polished communicator and skilled negotiator with strong presentation abilities.
- Confident working independently and representing a premium wellness brand.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a love for relationship-building and local engagement.
- Bonus: Familiarity with IV therapy, wellness clinics, or health optimization programs.
