A leading multispecialty medical group in the Atlanta Metro area is expanding its inpatient and step-down service team and hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner. This role offers a great balance of autonomy, collaboration, and growth for new or experienced nurse practitioners who thrive in an acute care environment.
You’ll provide hospital-based support for adult patients—conducting assessments, managing common acute conditions, performing follow-ups, and coordinating care with the supervising physician team. New graduates with strong acute care clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.
🩺 Key Responsibilities
- Conduct acute and follow-up assessments for hospitalized adult patients.
- Manage chronic conditions and handle moderate acuity cases during admissions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging.
- Support rounding, step-down care, and transitional planning.
- Document accurately in EMR and follow established clinical pathways.
- Collaborate with attending physicians, RNs, and care coordinators to ensure quality outcomes.
🎓 Qualifications
- Active Georgia APRN license (AGACNP or FNP).
- 1 year of acute care experience OR strong clinical rotations in hospital settings.
- Excellent communication and patient management skills.
- Team-oriented approach with confidence in moderate-acuity decision-making.
💰 Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $130,000–$165,000 annually
- Bonus: RVU-based productivity bonus
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts | Flexible full-time (no nights)
