Job Description

  • Handle assigned workers' compensation cases end-to-end
  • Appear at hearings, depositions, and mediations
  • Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
  • Conduct legal research and case preparation
  • Communicate with clients, claims adjusters, and opposing counsel
  • Assist senior attorneys with complex litigation matters
  • Ensure compliance with California workers' compensation regulations

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD)
  • Active California Bar license (required)
  • 265 years of workers' compensation or litigation experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
