The Process Engineer will also contribute engineering support to plant expansion and improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives across plant operations.
- Provide engineering support and troubleshooting for process, equipment, and operational issues.
- Support equipment installation, system testing, and operational readiness for new equipment and capital projects.
- Coordinate contractors and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Assist with equipment selection, project scope development, and contractor/vendor management.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new equipment and processes.
- Perform root cause analysis to address reliability issues, downtime, and quality challenges.
- Partner with R&D teams on process validation and development activities.
- Maintain equipment reliability and performance tracking through Guidewheel software.
- Support engineering work related to facility improvements and plant upgrades.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering required.
- 210 years of Process Engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Experience with plant design, process optimization, equipment selection, PFDs and P&IDs, and system implementation.
- Working knowledge of industrial electrical field devices (limit switches, flow sensors, solenoid valves, proximity switches).
- Experience with gas flow systems and instrumentation, including valves and pressure transducers.
- Demonstrated experience managing contractors, installation projects, and change orders.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
- Experience developing engineering standards, documentation, and best practices.
