About the RoleOur client is a nationally recognized financial services firm with more than 100 locations across the U.S. and over $72 billion in client assets under management. The North Barrington office, which oversees more than $1 billion in client assets, is seeking a polished, client-focused Paraplanner / Wealth Management Client Service Associate to support both advisor relationships and daily operations. This individual will contribute to financial planning support, account servicing, and client communications while serving as a key operational resource for the advisory team. The role offers broad exposure to both the service and planning functions of a full-service wealth management practice.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions
Prepare materials for client meetings and annual reviews, including agenda packets, portfolio summaries, and planning documents
Run reports and produce financial planning analyses to support advisor recommendations and client presentations
Support financial planning activities including data gathering, analysis, documentation preparation, and implementation of client recommendations
Assist advisors with client relationship development and participate in client meetings in a technical support capacity
Manage account opening, maintenance, and ongoing servicing with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
Maintain CRM records, client follow-ups, and action items to ensure proactive client engagement
Support daily operations including account processing, custodial coordination, billing, compliance reviews, and record management
Assist with trading support, transaction processing, and coordination with custodians and external partners
Maintain organized systems and processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and audit readiness
Qualifications
Qualifications
Two or more years of experience in a Paraplanner, client service or operations role within wealth management, supporting one or more financial advisors
Prior experience in a paraplanning capacity, including financial plan, document preparation and advisor support
Experience with MoneyGuidePro (financial planning), Tamarac (portfolio management and reporting), and Junxure (CRM and workflow management) or similar is preferred.
Familiarity with Pershing NetX360, NetX360 , Pershing X, or Wove is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-first mindset
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Demonstrated integrity and understanding of fiduciary responsibility
Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
