- Perform on-the-floor quality testing as required
- Maintain and manage spare parts inventory
- Troubleshoot systems and perform repairs in coordination with supervisors and vendors
- Monitor in-plant processes to ensure adherence to standard practices and special instructions
- Implement and audit departmental quality systems
- Ensure product traceability across assigned areas
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Apply ABS principles and A3 problem-solving methodologies
- Coach team members on Quality and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) practices
- Monitor final product data for trends and process improvements
- Maintain quality records, procedures, and documentation
- Support development of APQP tools (FMEA, control plans, reaction plans)
- Ensure compliance with TS16949 standards and VPM systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and reduce costs
- Support plant safety initiatives
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical support role
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
- Associates or Bachelors degree (preferred)
- 4 years of relevant experience (preferred)
- Experience in hot rolling, cold rolling, or heat treatment operations (preferred)
- Experience working with automotive customers (preferred)
- Familiarity with SAP or similar systems (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (preferred)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or ABS principles (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills (preferred)
- Ability to multitask and work independently or within cross-functional teams (preferred)
