Job Description

• Responsibilities: The use of various hand tools, machinery and equipment is required to manufacture metal products. Fabrication of custom parts, machine frames and prototypes from supplied drawings, fabrication of metal structures using jigs and fixtures in a high paced production environment.
  
  

Ensure continuous improvements in work areas, meet schedule and timelines and meet quality welding requirements according to pre-set parameters using MIG, ARC and TIG processes.

Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as: GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, PAW, SMAW, OAW, resistance welding and SAW.

Qualifications

• Requirements: Interprovincial Red Seal or in process. Valid welding certification in all positions. Machine welding knowledge. Valid forklift license or in process. Effective communicator, verbally and written. Strong attention to detail.
  
  

Computer literate - working knowledge of ERP systems and data entry in the ERP system.

Able to read and understand production drawings, blueprints, and work orders. Strong knowledge and skill in operating all metalworking machinery.
