- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems including chillers, air handlers, VAV systems, ventilation units, and mini-splits.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement effective repair solutions.
- Replace, upgrade, and commission HVAC components and associated controls.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, cleaning, adjustments, and system optimization.
- Assist with general building maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks.
- Respond promptly to service calls, alarms, and emergency situations.
- Maintain detailed work records, performance logs, and service documentation.
- Support lighting repair tasks, including fixture servicing and ballast replacement.
- Participate in the companys preventive maintenance program across trades.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, safety protocols, and equipment standards.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond according to established procedures.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience; residential experience a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- HVAC Technical Training Certificate preferred.
- EPA Certification required.
- OSHA 10/40 certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, refrigeration systems, and domestic water systems.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repair trades.
- Familiarity with BAS, CMMS, or digital work-order systems (e.g., ServiceNow, iOFFICE).
- Valid Florida Drivers License required.
- Ability to demonstrate full competence with tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
