Core Responsibilities
- Concept development and proposal writing
- System architecture design
- Analog and digital hardware design, development, and testing
- Schematic capture, simulation, and PCB layout
- Collaboration with software, RF, and other hardware engineers
- Full system prototyping and field demonstration
- MS in Electrical Engineering
- 15 years overall experience in mixed-signal electronic design
- Motivated self-starter with good interpersonal skills
- Outstanding technical capability with strong electrical engineering fundamentals
- Experience leading teams of engineers and developing new products/business
- Familiarity with embedded Linux
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Up to 20% travel may be required
- Experience working with USSOCOM or other government customers
- Active and current US Government security clearance
- Experience with low power system development and battery management systems
- Knowledge of military radios and understanding of RF systems (antennas, modulation, etc)
- Understanding of cloud server architectures / IOT device protocols and techniques
- Experience with software defined radios (SDRs)
- Familiarity with optics and military imagers and camera systems (SWIR, Thermal, etc)
- C/C embedded programming experience
