- Set up, edit, and operate CNC machines, including Mazak machines (experience preferred and highly valued)
- Operate multi-axis CNC horizontal, vertical machining centers, and turning centers
- Select proper cutting tools, speeds, and feeds from documentation
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and machining documents
- Conduct part inspections and quality checks using SPC and other tools
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and follow all ISO safety/quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with leads and supervisors and communicate across departments
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 13 years of CNC machining experience
- Experience working on Mazak machines (please specify how many years)
- Ability to read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions
- Basic math skills including geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Willingness and flexibility to train on 1st or mid-shift, then transition to 2nd shift
- Must supply personal hand tools and toolbox
- CNC certification preferred
