- Prepare journal entries and support budget variance reporting and executive summaries.
- Develop and maintain budget exhibits, including processor budgets and rate calculations.
- Analyze budgets and reprojections, identifying and explaining significant variances.
- Perform system testing and reconcile budget data across accounting platforms (e.g., MAS 500).
- Process monthly invoicing, review for accuracy, and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare financial reports, narratives, and supporting documentation for leadership and board reporting.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 13 years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.
- Experience with budgeting, variance analysis, or financial reporting preferred.
- Exposure to the insurance industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
