- Creating domain architecture roadmaps and vision maps
- Strategic initiatives within the domain and initiatives where global operations is playing a key role in
- Help drive operations technology business cases
- Prioritization discussions within portfolios and across
- Bring domain related knowledge to the table - inject ideas and industry trends and best practices
- Collaborate with other architects in the organization (Solutions Architects, Data Architects, Enterprise Architects etc.) and engineers on specific solutions for the global operations domains and the enterprise process management initiatives related to operational excellence like request management systems, robotic process automation and workflow automation, quick wins, business risks and customer contact centers like IVRs, chatbots and call centers.
- Be the global operations technology expert in the Bank - the one-stop shop for technical and non-technical teams to have strategic and tactical discussions related to the domain
- Be responsible for architecture, design authority and roadmap planning for all of our operational systems. With responsibility for the design, integration and evolution of the operational, technology and process roadmaps
- In collaboration w/ Solution architects, research and identify the right tools and technology stack based on scalability, latency and performance needs.
- In collaboration w/ Solution architects, assess technical feasibility by building rapid PoCs, find technological solutions for gaps, and create strategic IP as necessary.
- Work closely with User Experience designers and stakeholders to translate specs into consumer facing functionality
- Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams, product managers, designers, user researchers, business unit managers, marketing executives, and customers.
- Ability to learn & master new business domain to drive the right design
- Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and achieve results amidst constraints.
- Expert in the global operations domain in the US and preferably other geographies (explicitly EMEA)
- Specifically, experience building solutions for initiatives related to operational excellence like request management systems, robotic process automation and workflow automation, quick wins, business risks and customer contact centers like IVRs, chatbots and call centers.
- Must have an automation-first mindset with the ability to prove where significant impact has been made
- First-class communication skills tailoring messages, data and insights specific to different audience segments.
- Deep understanding of best design and software engineering practices - design principles and patterns, unit testing, performance engineering, best practices for security, privacy, identity protection.
- Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Architect and design leading solutions with a strong focus on security, performance and scalability.
- Experience with Security, Privacy, Identity concepts is a plus.
- Experience working in FinTechs & with different banking applications is a strong plus
- Ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms for all levels of organization.

- Bachelors Degree in CS, EE or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, and architecting enterprise systems in private and public cloud like OpenShift or AWS or Azure or Google.
- At least 7 years of experience as a domain architect or a principal architect in the global operations. Hands on experience working with operations teams
- Experience w/ architecting operations solutions in a commercial bank is a plus
- Experience architecting solutions using automation tools and RPA solutions
- Experience working with BPM tools (e.g. Appian)
- Experience in interacting w/ senior leadership, including to C-suite
- Extraordinary communication & presentation skills.
