2nd shift available, with training provided during the off-shift hours.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Repairs and services mechanical equipment in manufacturing process, laboratories, and offices.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility and process equipment, including pumps (mag drive, mechanical seal), grinding mills, valves, compressors, and packaging systems.

Troubleshoot motor control systems and plant instrumentation.

Maintain mobile equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts.

Maintain infrastructure equipment, including steam generation and cooling/chilling systems, ensuring mechanical compliance with state regulations (fire systems, boilers, pollution control).

Apply fabrication and piping skills, including welding and pipe assembly (preferred).

Participate in safety and site improvement programs.
SALARY RANGE:
- $25.10 to $38.23. Compensation for this role is negotiable based on experience and skill set.
Additional Competencies:
- High School Diploma.
- Technical School Certification or 2-3 years’ experience or equivalent combination.
- Experience in automation or fabrication required.
- Ability to interpret basic mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Experience with Welding and Piping Assembly preferred.
- Have valid driver’s license.
