CLEANING TECH SUPERVISOR (2ND SHIFT)

About the Role:

The Cleaning Tech Supervisor (2nd Shift) plays a critical role in ensuring that all cleaning operations during the evening shift are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position is responsible for overseeing a team of cleaning technicians, coordinating daily tasks, and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The supervisor will monitor work quality, provide training and support to staff, and address any operational challenges that arise during the shift. Additionally, this role involves managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance. Ultimately, the Cleaning Tech Supervisor ensures that facilities are maintained to promote a healthy, safe, and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cleaning or janitorial role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift hours consistently 3pm - 11pm
• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in cleaning or facility management.
• Experience working in commercial or industrial cleaning environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant health and safety regulations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• First aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning technicians during the 2nd shift to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed effectively and on schedule.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to cleaning staff to promote professional development and high-quality work.
• Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock.
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by staff or facility occupants promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff attendance, and any incidents occurring during the shift.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and management to improve cleaning processes and implement best practices.
