Nowhere Store is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Shoe Cleaner / Sneaker Care Specialist to join our team. We are a fast-paced sneaker, clothing, and luxury resale store specializing in both pre-owned and brand-new merchandise.
The Shoe Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning and preparing pre-owned footwear before it is photographed, listed, displayed, or sold. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and understands that presentation is extremely important when dealing with high-end sneakers and designer footwear.
Responsibilities
Previous sneaker-cleaning or restoration experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. You should be reliable, organized, careful with expensive merchandise, comfortable working independently, and able to maintain quality while working efficiently.
Knowledge of sneakers, streetwear, designer footwear, and brands such as Nike, Jordan, Yeezy, New Balance, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, and similar brands is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Deep clean pre-owned sneakers and footwear
- Clean midsoles, outsoles, uppers, laces, insoles, and other components
- Work carefully with materials including leather, suede, nubuck, mesh, canvas, and specialty fabrics
- Remove dirt, stains, odors, and surface marks whenever safely possible
- Prepare shoes to look their best before being photographed and listed for sale
- Identify stains, damage, or materials that require special treatment before cleaning
- Keep cleaning supplies, tools, and the work area organized
- Handle expensive and collectible footwear with extreme care
- Maintain a consistent cleaning standard across all inventory
- Work efficiently to keep up with incoming inventory in a fast-paced store environment
